This is a 2-day in-depth technical lab-intensive class for how to design, deploy, configure and maintain SonicWall distributed wireless equipment to: provides user mobility maintaining secure wireless communication, provides controlled guest access as needed and provides hotspot capabilities.
Students will learn how to setup a SonicWall distributed wireless network. The class not only focuses on the installation and configuration of SonicWall equipment but it also focuses on the entire system setup. This includes configuring VLAN switches, RADIUS servers as well as wireless clients for a complete solution. Student will setup several Virtual APs where wireless traffic handled by the same set of SonicPoints can be segmented, applying unique wireless securities to each. The lab will also include the successful implementation of external guest authentication using the SonicWall Lightweight Hotspot Messaging (LHM). The class will finally cover enhanced management with the Global Management System (GMS), troubleshooting, wireless design and RF site surveys.
